How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Benthic Biomancer.
2. Benthic Biomancer triggers, causing you to loot.
3. Brallin triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it, dealing 1 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain life.
4. Archangel of Thune triggers putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns a single initial trigger into an infinite cascade of incremental growth and damage, propelled entirely by the synergy between your discards and life gain. Once you add a +1/+1 counter to Benthic Biomancer, its triggered ability forces you to draw and discard a card, which immediately awakens Brallin, Skyshark Rider to deal damage to your opponents and pump itself. Because Brallin's damage gains you life (thanks to Archangel of Thune's lifelink or another incidental source), Archangel of Thune triggers in response, distributing a +1/+1 counter to every creature you control—including putting another counter back on Benthic Biomancer to restart the entire cycle.
