How it works

1. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing Sword of the Meek.
2. Crime Novelist and Krenko trigger.
3. Resolve the Crime Novelist trigger, adding and putting a +1/+1 counter on the Crime Novelist.
4. Resolve the Krenko trigger, causing you to pay to create a 1/1 Goblin creature token with haste.
5. When the Goblin enters the battlefield, Sword of the Meek triggers, returning Sword of the Meek from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the Goblin token.
6. When Sword of the Meek enters, Grinding Station triggers, untapping itself.
7. Resolve the Grinding Station ability from step 1, causing target player to mill three cards.
8. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a modest equipment into an infinite mill and token engine by weaponizing sacrifice and graveyard recursion. Every time you use Grinding Station to sacrifice Sword of the Meek, Crime Novelist fires off to reward your artifact sacrifice with vital red mana and growing +1/+1 counters.
