How it works

1. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing Sword of the Meek, adding CC.
2. Crime Novelist and Krenko trigger.
3. Resolve the Crime Novelist trigger, adding and putting a +1/+1 counter on the Crime Novelist.
4. Resolve the Krenko trigger, causing you to pay to create a 1/1 Goblin creature token with haste.
5. When the Goblin enters the battlefield, Sword of the Meek triggers, returning Sword of the Meek from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the Goblin token.
6. Repeat.

This engine gets its infinite momentum from the clever loop between Krark-Clan Ironworks and Sword of the Meek, where sacrificing the Sword yields the colorless mana needed to keep the cycle going. As Sword of the Meek hits the graveyard, Crime Novelist converts that sacrifice into a steady stream of red mana and a growing pile of +1/+1 counters, while Krenko, Baron of Tin Street capitalizes on the fallen artifact to pay the cost for a brand-new 1/1 Goblin token with haste. That very same token entering the battlefield immediately triggers Sword of the Meek to leap back out of the graveyard and attach itself right to the new Goblin, resetting the board and leaving you with an unstoppable army and endless resources.
