How it works

1. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Sword of the Meek.
2. Crime Novelist and Krenko trigger.
3. Resolve the Crime Novelist trigger, adding and putting a +1/+1 counter on the Crime Novelist.
4. Resolve the Krenko trigger, causing you to pay to create a 1/1 Goblin creature token with haste.
5. When the Goblin enters the battlefield, Sword of the Meek triggers, returning Sword of the Meek from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the Goblin token.
6. Resolve the Lithatog ability from step 1.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the humble Sword of the Meek into a relentless engine by leveraging Lithatog as your free sacrifice outlet to send the Sword straight to the graveyard. Each time the Sword hits the yard, Crime Novelist fires off to generate the red mana and grow itself with a +1/+1 counter, perfectly funding Krenko, Baron of Tin Street's triggered ability. Paying that single red mana creates a hasty 1/1 Goblin token, which immediately coaxes the Sword of the Meek back out of the graveyard to attach itself to the newcomer and restart the whole cycle.
