Krenko, Baron of Tin Street
Crime Novelist
Sword of the Meek
Atog
Infinite creature ETBInfinite creature tokens with hasteInfinite +1/+1 counters on a creatureInfinitely large creature until end of turn
How it works
Activate Atog by sacrificing Sword of the Meek.
Crime Novelist and Krenko trigger.
Resolve the Crime Novelist trigger, adding and putting a +1/+1 counter on the Crime Novelist.
Resolve the Krenko trigger, causing you to pay to create a 1/1 Goblin creature token with haste.
When the Goblin enters the battlefield, Sword of the Meek triggers, returning Sword of the Meek from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the Goblin token.
Resolve the Atog ability from step 1.
Repeat.
This loop is a masterclass in resource recycling, fueled entirely by the recursive nature of Sword of the Meek. Whenever Atog-standing in as our free sacrifice outlet-chews up the Sword, Crime Novelist immediately rewards you with red mana and a power boost for the trouble. Simultaneously, Krenko, Baron of Tin Street capitalizes on that same sacrifice by letting you spend the generated mana to forge a fresh 1/1 Goblin token. That very token's arrival triggers Sword of the Meek to leap straight from the graveyard and equip itself to the newborn Goblin, setting the stage to do it all over again.
