How it works

1. Cause a 2/2 creature to enter the battlefield under your control, which enters as a 1/1.
2. Sword of the Meek triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the 1/1 creature.
3. Garrison Excavator triggers. Holding priority, activate Atog by sacrificing Sword of the Meek.
4. Resolve the Garrison Excavator trigger, creating a 2/2 creature token.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This fascinating loop uses Garrison Excavator as your engine, transforming any card leaving the graveyard—specifically, Sword of the Meek returning to the battlefield—into a fresh 2/2 Spirit token. That newly created token enters as a 1/1, which immediately triggers Sword of the Meek to pull itself right back out of your graveyard and reattach, keeping the entire cycle moving. To clear the Sword out of play so it can trigger the graveyard again, you simply feed it to Atog's sacrifice ability, turning the metal into a massive pump for Atog while generating an endless supply of triggers, tokens, and power.
