How it works

1. Activate Famished Paladin by tapping it, adding one mana of any color.
2. Judge of Currents triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Famished Paladin triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest vampire knight into an infinite mana and life engine by fundamentally rewriting creature types and battlefield triggers. Conspiracy does the heavy lifting behind the scenes, making every creature you control a Merfolk so that Judge of Currents watches your every move. Meanwhile, Cryptolith Rite grants Famished Paladin the tap ability it needs to generate mana. Tapping the Paladin triggers Judge of Currents for a point of life, which in turn untaps Famished Paladin via its own life-gain trigger, leaving you ready to tap right back into the infinite.
