How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This clever lockdown loop keeps you completely safe from damage by continuously recycling your lands. While Glacial Chasm's static ability prevents all damage dealt to you, its cumulative upkeep would normally force you to sacrifice it quickly, but Crucible of Worlds bypasses that restriction by letting you replay it directly from your graveyard. Meanwhile, Case of the Locked Hothouse provides the extra land drop needed each turn so you can easily replace the land you were forced to sacrifice when Glacial Chasm first entered the battlefield.
