How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This clever defensive lock uses Glacial Chasm's absolute damage prevention to completely shield you from harm, letting you bypass its crippling cumulative upkeep cost entirely. By leveraging Crucible of Worlds to play lands directly from your graveyard and Oracle of Mul Daya to grant an extra land drop and access to the top of your library, you can effortlessly replay the sacrificed land and Glacial Chasm turn after turn. You simply allow Glacial Chasm to sacrifice itself to its own upkeep before the life payments grow too steep, only to immediately redeploy it and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
