How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop achieves total immunity to damage by weaponizing Glacial Chasm's own upkeep sacrifice against its rising cumulative upkeep cost. Because Crucible of Worlds lets you seamlessly replay lands straight from your graveyard, and Rites of Flourishing grants the extra land drop needed to play it each turn, you can simply let the Chasm sacrifice itself to its own trigger and redeploy it immediately. The land you sacrifice to the Chasm's entry trigger is just the one you're about to replay with Crucible, keeping your land count stable while locking your opponents out of ever harming you.
