How it works
- Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Gravecrawler.
- When Gravecrawler dies, The Ghoul triggers, causing you to get two rad counters and create a Treasure token.
- Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard by paying .
- Repeat.
This loop turns the recursive nature of Gravecrawler into an engine fueled entirely by the sacrifice outlet Thermopod. Because Thermopod lets you sacrifice creatures for red mana, you can continually feed Gravecrawler to it as long as you maintain a Zombie—a requirement effortlessly satisfied by The Ghoul, Gunslinger standing on the battlefield alongside them. Each iteration of this cycle triggers The Ghoul, Gunslinger to grant you rad counters and a Treasure token, which you then crack for the black mana needed to recast Gravecrawler right back from your graveyard.
