How it works

1. Cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard by paying .

This engine turns Gravecrawler and Phantom Train into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging the continuous casting permission of Gravecrawler from your graveyard, fueled entirely by the black mana generated when Kheru Goldkeeper rewards you for those cards leaving the graveyard. As you repeatedly cast Gravecrawler for just {B}, Kheru Goldkeeper triggers to hand you a fresh Treasure token that you immediately crack for mana, while Phantom Train stands ready to sacrifice the crawling horror to grow itself into a massive threat. Because Gravecrawler keeps hopping right back out of the graveyard to restart the cycle, every piece locks together to pile up infinite sacrifices, deaths, and +1/+1 counters on your battlefield.
