How it works

1. Activate Peregrin Took by sacrificing three Foods.
2. Experimental Confectioner's second ability triggers three times, creating three 1/1 Rat creature tokens and three Food artifact tokens.
3. Resolve the Peregrin Took ability, causing you to draw a card.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a pile of snacks into an endless cascade of rodents and research. By using Peregrin Took's activated ability to sacrifice three Foods, you trigger Experimental Confectioner's ability three separate times, which in turn populates your board with three 1/1 Rat creature tokens and three replacement Food tokens thanks to Peregrin Took's built-in token multiplier. Because sacrificing those initial treats nets you both a card from Peregrin Took and a fresh crop of ingredients to feed the cycle anew, you can comfortably repeat the process as many times as you desire to draw your entire deck.
