How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
3. When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Machinesmith Automaton triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Machinesmith Automaton.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the top of your library into an endless engine by leveraging Falco Spara, Pactweaver's ability to cast spells straight from the library using a creature's counter as an alternate cost instead of mana. Sensei's Divining Top fuels itself by drawing a card and placing itself right back on top, ready to be recast for free, while Ugin, the Ineffable conveniently helps make your colorless spells cheaper if needed. As the Top repeatedly enters and leaves the battlefield, Machinesmith Automaton grows endlessly by feeding on each artifact's arrival, constantly replacing any counters removed by Falco Spara to keep the chain unbroken.
