How it works

  1. Cast Chromatic Sphere from your graveyard by paying 0 and discarding a land card from your hand.
  2. Activate Chromatic Sphere by paying 1, tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1 and causing you to mill two cards and return a land card from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a simple artifact into a self-sustaining engine by weaving together the unique strengths of all four pieces. Ugin, the Ineffable provides the crucial cost reduction that makes Chromatic Sphere completely free to cast, while Six grants nonland permanents in your graveyard retrace so you can repeatedly cast that very same Sphere. Meanwhile, The Necrobloom brings a land-based safety net, leveraging its dredge ability on land cards in your graveyard to ensure you always have the fodder needed to fuel Six's retrace cost. Finally, Chromatic Sphere itself cycles through your deck and produces the mana required to activate its own sacrifice ability, keeping the chain unbroken as it mills your entire library.
