How it works

1. Activate Tolarian Academy by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Derevi.
3. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Tolarian Academy.
4. Repeat.

This vintage-legal engine relies on the massive mana-producing potential of Tolarian Academy, which scales with your artifact count to easily generate the four mana needed to fuel Emiel the Blessed's activation. By paying into Emiel's ability, you repeatedly blink Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, bypassing conventional mana costs entirely. Each time Derevi enters the battlefield, its triggered ability untaps Tolarian Academy so you can tap it again for a net gain of blue mana, leaving you with infinite mana and infinite enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
