How it works

1. Activate Vhal by tapping it, adding at least CCC that cannot be spent to cast spells from your hand.
2. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Derevi.
3. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Vhal.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher to act as our mana engine, tapping for at least three colorless mana that conveniently bypasses the restriction against casting spells from our hand. We funnel that mana directly into Emiel the Blessed's activated ability to repeatedly exile and blink Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. Each time Derevi reappears, its enters-the-battlefield trigger fires to untap Vhal, resetting our mana source and allowing the loop to run indefinitely for infinite colorless mana and trigger counts.
