How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Suture Priest triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This lovely loop spins into motion the moment you manage to gain any bit of life, waking up Heliod, Sun-Crowned's triggered ability to place a +1/+1 counter onto Herd Baloth. That influx of power immediately triggers Herd Baloth's second ability to manufacture a 4/4 green Beast token, whose very arrival on the battlefield prompts Suture Priest to siphon life back into your pool. Because Suture Priest's life-gaining trigger counts as gaining life, it feeds right back into Heliod, Sun-Crowned to start the cycle anew—generating an endless cascade of counters, tokens, and life without ever needing to stop.
