How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Suture Priest triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop starts with a simple catalyst of life gain, which uses Light of Promise to drop a +1/+1 counter onto Basking Broodscale. That counter triggers Basking Broodscale's own ability to birth an Eldrazi Spawn token, and the moment that token hits the battlefield, Suture Priest rewards you with a life point. That newly gained life feeds right back into Light of Promise, restarting the entire cycle to pump Basking Broodscale endlessly while flooding your board with tokens, mana, and life.
