How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Sunbond triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Suture Priest triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a single instance of lifegain into an explosive, game-winning avalanche by creating a self-sustaining cycle between Sunbond, Scurry Oak, and Suture Priest. Once you enchant Scurry Oak with Sunbond, any initial life gain triggers the aura to place a +1/+1 counter on the Treefolk, which in turn prompts Scurry Oak's second ability to manufacture a 1/1 green Squirrel token. The arrival of that new token brings Suture Priest onto the scene with its life-draining and life-gaining triggers, feeding right back into Sunbond to repeat the entire process indefinitely. The result is an infinitely massive Scurry Oak, an endless army of Squirrels, and absolute victory across Commander, Legacy, Modern, Oathbreaker, and Vintage formats.
