How it works

1. Activate the creature with Elemental Mastery attached by tapping it, creating a number of 1/1 Elemental creature tokens with haste equal to its power.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing an Elemental.
3. When the Elemental dies as an artifact due to Encroaching Mycosynth, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping the creature with Elemental Mastery attached.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

Encroaching Mycosynth is the clever linchpin of this engine, turning every nonland permanent you control—including all the creatures you create—into artifacts so they can interact with Dross Scorpion. When you tap your creature enchanted with Elemental Mastery, its massive power floods the board with a horde of haste-granting Elemental tokens. You can then feed those tokens directly to Carrion Feeder, pumping its stats while triggering Dross Scorpion each time an artifact creature dies. Because Dross Scorpion untaps the creature with Elemental Mastery upon each sacrifice, you instantly reset your token factory for another loop, letting you repeat the process to generate an unbounded storm of sacrifices, deaths, and hasty attackers.
