How it works

1. Activate the creature with Elemental Mastery attached by tapping it, creating a number of 1/1 Elemental creature tokens with haste equal to its power.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Elemental.
3. When the Elemental dies as an artifact due to Mycosynth Lattice, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping the creature with Elemental Mastery attached.
4. Repeat.

With Mycosynth Lattice turning every permanent on the battlefield into an artifact, our entire ecosystem—including every creature we create—becomes valid fuel for Dross Scorpion and Ashnod's Altar. When you tap the creature enchanted by Elemental Mastery to flood the board with hasty Elemental tokens, you can sacrifice those tokens to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana. Each of those deaths triggers Dross Scorpion, which immediately untaps your master creature so you can tap it again and repeat the loop for infinite mana and tokens.
