How it works

1. Activate the creature with Elemental Mastery attached by tapping it, creating at least one 1/1 Elemental creature token with haste.
2. The Elemental(s) enter the battlefield and die as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness.
3. When the Elemental(s) die, the creature with Thornbite Staff attached triggers that many times, untapping itself.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns your chosen creature into a veritable engine of creation and destruction by combining Elemental Mastery with the automated untapping power of Thornbite Staff. As you tap the enchanted creature to churn out Elemental tokens via Elemental Mastery, those tokens instantly perish from zero toughness—a fate accelerated if Crovax, Ascendant Hero is on the board to shrink nonwhite creatures—which immediately triggers Thornbite Staff to untap your host creature. Because Thornbite Staff untaps the creature every single time a token dies, you can endlessly repeat the process to generate infinite entry, exit, and death triggers.
