How it works

1. Activate the creature with Elemental Mastery attached by tapping it, creating a number of 1/1 Elemental creature tokens with haste equal to its power.
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing an Elemental.
3. When the Elemental dies as an artifact due to Mycosynth Lattice, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping the creature with Elemental Mastery attached.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
5. Repeat.

With Mycosynth Lattice painting every permanent on the board as an artifact, any creature that bites the dust—such as one of the hasty tokens produced by enchanting a creature with Elemental Mastery—will trigger Dross Scorpion's watchful eye to immediately untap your tapped creature. You fuel Phantom Train's appetite by sacrificing those newly minted tokens, which continuously pumps up the train with +1/+1 counters while satisfying the cost to animate it. Because Dross Scorpion resets your primary token producer each time a sacrificed token dies as an artifact, you can repeat this entire sequence indefinitely to flood the board with infinite haste-granting Elementals and arbitrarily large stats.
