How it works

1. Activate the creature with Elemental Mastery attached by tapping it, creating a number of 1/1 Elemental creature tokens with haste equal to its power.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing an Elemental.
3. When the Elemental dies as an artifact due to Mycosynth Lattice, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping the creature with Elemental Mastery attached.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms raw creature power into an endless cycle of tokens by turning the entire battlefield into a mechanical workshop with Mycosynth Lattice. Thanks to that global artifact status, the 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens you flood the board with via Elemental Mastery's tap ability become artifact creatures the moment they meet their end. When you feed one of those tokens to Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice activation, Dross Scorpion eagerly spots the artifact death and untaps your creature, letting you repeat the entire process infinitely.
