How it works

1. Activate Coercive Recruiter by tapping it, creating at least four 1/1 Elemental creature tokens with haste.
2. When the Elementals enter the battlefield as Pirates due to Maskwood Nexus, Coercive Recruiter triggers four times.
3. Resolve the first three triggers, causing you to gain control of up to three other creatures and untap them.
4. Resolve the last trigger, untapping Coercive Recruiter.
5. Repeat.
6. You may also repeat this during each of your turns to gain control of all creatures during your turn.

This brilliant loop turns a simple enchantment into an endless army by weaving together tribal synergy and untap triggers. Maskwood Nexus does the heavy lifting behind the scenes, ensuring that every creature you own—including the tokens—counts as a Pirate alongside its other types. When you enchant Coercive Recruiter with Elemental Mastery, tapping it to generate a wave of tokens immediately triggers the Recruiter's ability for each newcomer that enters the battlefield. As those triggers resolve, you untap the Recruiter itself along with any other creatures you control, allowing you to repeat the process indefinitely for infinite hasty tokens and endless untaps.
