How it works

1. Cast Seething Song by paying 2.
2. Holding priority, activate Rootha by paying 2 and returning it from the battlefield to your hand, copying Seething Song.
3. Resolve the copy of Seething Song, adding .
4. Activate Sneak Attack by paying , putting Rootha from your hand onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop exploits Rootha, Mercurial Artist's ability to bounce herself back to your hand as a cost to copy a spell—in this case, Seething Song, which provides more than enough red mana to fuel the entire sequence. Once Rootha is safely returned to your hand, Sneak Attack steps in to cheat her right back onto the battlefield for just one mana, granting her haste and setting her up to repeat the process infinitely. Because Rootha is constantly moving between the battlefield and your hand, you generate an endless stream of creature enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers, alongside infinite magecraft and boundless red mana.
