How it works

1. Activate Axebane Guardian by tapping it, adding at least five mana of any color.
2. Activate Staff of Domination's third ability by paying 3 and tapping it, untapping Axebane Guardian.
3. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This delightful little loop turns Axebane Guardian and Staff of Domination into an endless engine for your battlefield, provided you control enough defenders to fuel the operation. With the Guardian tapping to generate the heavy mana required, you can funnel a portion of those funds directly back into Staff of Domination's third ability to untap the Guardian, while spending another mana to untap the Staff itself. Once this infinite mana loop is established, that same Staff of Domination can easily pivot to drawing your entire deck, gaining infinite life, or tapping and untapping your creatures as many times as your heart desires.
