How it works

1. Activate Selvala by tapping it, adding at least five mana of any color.
2. Activate Staff of Domination's third ability by paying 3 and tapping it, untapping Selvala.
3. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in self-sustaining momentum, turning Selvala, Eager Trailblazer into a massive mana engine that feeds right back into the artifact that untaps her. Once you use Selvala's tap ability to generate at least five mana from the diverse power levels among your creatures, you funnel just a fraction of that bounty into Staff of Domination. By spending three mana to untap Selvala and one mana to untap Staff of Domination, you clear the activation costs with mana to spare, leaving a net surplus of energy every single cycle. With an infinite supply of mana and untaps secured, you can then pivot Staff of Domination's remaining abilities to draw your entire deck, gain infinite life, and completely lock down the board.
