How it works

1. Activate Rofellos by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Staff of Domination's third ability by paying 3 and tapping it, untapping Rofellos.
3. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This classic pairing hinges on Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary acting as an incredible mana engine, tapping for massive green mana based on the forests you control. Once Rofellos produces at least five mana, Staff of Domination steps in with its versatile toolkit: you spend three of that mana to untap Rofellos, and just one more mana to untap Staff of Domination itself, leaving you with net-positive mana and an infinite loop. Because the Staff can be continually untaped this way, you can infinitely repeat the cycle to generate unbounded green mana, draw your entire deck, and gain infinite life using Staff of Domination's other activated abilities.
