How it works

1. Cast Basking Broodscale by paying 1, which enters with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Bloodspore Thrinax.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token that enters with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Bloodspore Thrinax.
3. Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
4. When the Eldrazi Spawn dies, Reluctant Role Model's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop relies on Bloodspore Thrinax to act as an amplifier, ensuring that both Basking Broodscale and every token it produces enter the battlefield already bearing +1/+1 counters. Each counter placed on Basking Broodscale triggers its ability to spawn an Eldrazi Spawn, which immediately sacrifices itself for colorless mana. When that token dies, Reluctant Role Model steps in to harvest its counters and place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Basking Broodscale, perpetuating the cycle indefinitely.
