How it works

1. Activate Fertilid by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, causing you to search your library for a basic land card and put it on the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
2. When the basic land enters, Nissa and Thranduil's Company trigger.
3. Resolve the Nissa trigger, adding .
4. Resolve the Thranduil's Company trigger, putting two +1/+1 counters on Fertilid.
5. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This engine transforms Fertilid's counter removal into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging the explosive synergy of its supporting cast. Thanks to Horizon Explorer, the basic land fetched by Fertilid enters untapped, allowing you to immediately tap it for mana to help fund the next activation while Nissa, Resurgent Animist adds an extra mana of any color on each landfall. Meanwhile, Thranduil's Company continuously refills Fertilid's counter supply whenever a land enters, ensuring you always have the fuel required to repeat the process until every basic land from your library is on the battlefield.
