How it works

1. Activate either Progenitor Mimic or Avatar Kuruk by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your upkeep, Progenitor Mimic triggers, creating a token copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat using the Avatar Kuruk token.

This engine achieves infinite turns by turning Avatar Kuruk's massive Waterbend exhaust ability into a repeatable engine, leveraging Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to bypass the legend rule so you can safely keep multiple copies on the board. When you play Progenitor Mimic, it enters as a copy of Avatar Kuruk and generates a fresh token copy of itself every upkeep to sustain the loop. The Legend of Kuruk // Avatar Kuruk anchors the entire strategy, allowing you to tap down your accumulated artifacts and creatures to easily pay that daunting {20} mana cost and chain extra turns indefinitely.
