How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 4, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Progenitor Mimic triggers, creating a token copy of Pinnacle Monk.
3. When the token Pinnacle Monk enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Walk the Aeons from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop locks down the game by weaponizing your upkeep to secure infinite turns in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Oathbreaker, and Vintage. You start by casting Walk the Aeons to claim an extra turn, letting it hit the graveyard so it can be retrieved. When your next upkeep rolls around, Progenitor Mimic's static-triggered ability creates a non-token copy of Pinnacle Monk (utilizing its Mystic Peak half's creature side on entry), which triggers to pull Walk the Aeons right back to your hand. By repeating this process every turn, you continuously recast Walk the Aeons and replay Pinnacle Monk to loop the extra turn spell indefinitely.
