How it works

1. Activate Anzrag by paying 3, causing opponents to block Anzrag if able this turn.
2. Cast Obscuring Haze by paying 0 if you control a commander, or 2 otherwise, preventing all combat damage that would be dealt by opposing creatures this turn.
3. Declare Anzrag as an attacker, attacking any opponent.
4. If the opponent does not control a creature, activate Forbidden Orchard by tapping it, adding one mana of any color.
5. If Forbidden Orchard was activated, it triggers, causing the defending opponent to create a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
6. If Forbidden Orchard was activated, activate Krosan Restorer by tapping it, untapping Forbidden Orchard.
7. The opponent is forced to block Anzrag, triggering Anzrag, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
8. Any combat damage that would be dealt to Anzrag is prevented by Obscuring Haze.
9. Repeat from step 3 each combat phase.

This brilliant loop forces an opponent to perpetually block Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, triggering its untap and extra combat ability while Obscuring Haze gracefully prevents all damage your opponents' creatures would deal so your mole survives the onslaught. To ensure there is always a legal blocker available even if the board is empty, Forbidden Orchard conveniently provides a 1/1 Spirit token each time it's tapped for mana. Finally, Krosan Restorer steps in to continually untap that land, fueling the engine and keeping your resources flowing indefinitely through these endless phases.
