How it works
- Gain life in any way.
- Herd Baloth triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
- Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token that enters the battlefield as an artifact due to Mycosynth Lattice.
- Teething Wurmlet triggers, causing you to gain life.
- Repeat from step 2.
With Mycosynth Lattice turning every permanent on the battlefield into an artifact, the stage is set for a wonderful cascade of triggers. When you initially gain life, Sunbond converts that life gain into a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth, which in turn causes the Baloth to spawn a 4/4 Beast token. Because of Mycosynth Lattice, that new token enters as an artifact, instantly triggering Teething Wurmlet to grant you 1 life. That life gain loops right back into Sunbond to place yet another counter on Herd Baloth, perpetuating an infinite loop of life, counters, and artifact creature tokens.
