How it works

1. Cast The Master by paying .
2. When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Mercurial Pretender and create at least two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
4. Activate The Master by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Mercurial Pretender from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Mercurial Pretender to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
5. When Mercurial Pretender enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Mercurial Pretender by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop sets up an endless cycle of rebirth by letting The Master, Formed Anew and Mercurial Pretender continually trade places using Ruthless Technomancer's reanimation ability. Whenever one enters the battlefield as a copy of the Technomancer, its entry trigger sacrifices the other to manufacture the necessary Treasure tokens to fuel the next resurrection. Meanwhile, Zirda, the Dawnwaker acts as the financial engine behind the whole operation, discounting the Technomancer's graveyard-return ability so that it only costs a single mana to activate—allowing the Treasures generated along the way to effortlessly sustain an infinite loop of death and return.
