How it works

1. Activate Dino DNA's second ability by paying 4, creating a token copy of Cathodion that is a 6/6 Dinosaur.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Cathodion token, adding 1.
3. When the Cathodion token dies, it triggers, adding CCC.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns graveyard recycling into an engine by using Zirda, the Dawnwaker's static ability to slash Dino DNA's massive copy cost down to a manageable four mana. Once Dino DNA brings forth a 6/6 green Dinosaur token copy of Cathodion, you feed it directly to Phyrexian Altar to generate a mana of any color. Cathodion's own death trigger responds by flooding your pool with three colorless mana, more than paying for the discounted activation fee to repeat the cycle infinitely.
