How it works

1. Tap Sunstrike Legionnaire to add 1.
2. Pay 1 to create a 1/1 Sliver token.
3. Sunstrike Legionnaire triggers, untapping.
4. Repeat.

This infinite token engine hums along by leveraging Cryptolith Rite to turn your creature base into a mana source, allowing Sunstrike Legionnaire to tap for the exact mana needed to fuel Sliver Queen's token-making ability. Normally that activation would cost two mana, but Zirda, the Dawnwaker steps in to reduce non-mana activated abilities by {2}—lowering the cost to the minimum of a single mana. Every time Sliver Queen produces a new token, Sunstrike Legionnaire's static trigger notices the entry and immediately untaps itself, ready to tap right back into Cryptolith Rite for another cycle.
