How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking The Third Doctor.
2. When The Third Doctor enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This engine lets you repeatedly cycle The Third Doctor in and out of exile, triggering its enter-the-battlefield ability infinitely. Zirda, the Dawnwaker does the heavy lifting by discounting Emiel the Blessed's activation cost down to just one generic mana. Because The Third Doctor creates a Treasure token every time it returns, you can immediately sacrifice that very token for the mana needed to pay Emiel the Blessed's reduced fee, closing the loop completely.
