How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stangg, adding CC.
When Stangg dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Stangg from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
When Stangg enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a 3/4 Stangg Twin creature token.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Stangg Twin, adding CC.
When the Stangg Twin token dies, Stangg triggers.
Holding priority, repeat from step 1.
This clever loop begins by leveraging Stangg and its matching Stangg Twin token as a continuous sacrifice engine fueled by Ashnod's Altar, which converts each fallen warrior into the mana needed to keep the cycle running. As creatures hit the graveyard, Nim Deathmantle steps in to resurrect Stangg for four mana, utilizing the colorless mana generated from the altar sacrifices. Because sacrificing the Stangg Twin token immediately forces Stangg to sacrifice itself via its own delayed trigger, the system effortlessly feeds back into itself, generating an endless stream of entries, leaves, and demises.
