How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Metamorphosis Fanatic.
2. When Metamorphosis Fanatic dies, Prowling Geistcatcher's first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic from your graveyard.
3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
4. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Prowling Geistcatcher.
5. When Prowling Geistcatcher dies, its second ability triggers, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from exile to the battlefield.
6. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Prowling Geistcatcher from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a continuous cycle of sacrifice and resurrection to generate infinite triggers and a perpetually growing vehicle. By feeding Metamorphosis Fanatic to Phantom Train, you send the Fanatic to the graveyard just in time for Prowling Geistcatcher's exile replacement effect to catch it. Once you turn around and sacrifice Prowling Geistcatcher to the Train, the Geistcatcher's departure releases the Fanatic from exile back onto the battlefield—which immediately triggers the Fanatic's ability to pull Prowling Geistcatcher right back out of the graveyard.
