How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Metamorphosis Fanatic.
2. When Metamorphosis Fanatic dies, Prowling Geistcatcher's first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic from your graveyard.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
4. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Prowling Geistcatcher.
5. When Prowling Geistcatcher dies, its second ability triggers, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from exile to the battlefield.
6. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Prowling Geistcatcher from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
8. Repeat.

This loop dances gracefully between the graveyard and the battlefield by leveraging Prowling Geistcatcher as a living vault that hoards your dead threats. When you feed Metamorphosis Fanatic to Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice outlet, the Geistcatcher intercepts it in the graveyard to keep it safely tucked away in exile rather than lost to the void. Then, sacrificing the Geistcatcher itself breaks the lock, triggering its return effect to pull the Fanatic right back onto the battlefield. That new entrance immediately triggers the Fanatic's own revival ability to pluck the Geistcatcher back out of the graveyard, resetting the entire recursive stage for infinite surveil and endless sacrifice triggers.
