How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This intricate loop relies on gifting a piece of your own board away to completely break the rules of nature. By using Zedruu the Greathearted's ability, you hand Blightbeetle over to an opponent, where its static ability prevents their creatures from ever receiving +1/+1 counters. With this negative modifier active, you can repeatedly sacrifice an undying creature to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine; because Blightbeetle blocks the counter that would normally keep the creature dead, it triggers endlessly to fuel Shilgengar's sacrifice engine while generating an infinite supply of Blood tokens.
