How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Essence Warden triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Essence Warden trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Essence Warden trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Grand Arbiter Augustin IV to reduce generic mana costs and Defiler of Faith to substitute life for white mana, allowing you to cast Kor Skyfisher entirely for free by paying 2 life. Each time Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, its own mandatory bounce trigger targets itself, returning it smoothly to your hand while triggering Essence Warden for a life gain buffer. Simultaneously, Defiler of Faith rewards each iteration by spawning a 1/1 white Soldier creature token, which in turn feeds Essence Warden a second time to ensure you easily loop without burning through your life total.
