How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Su-Chi Cave Guard, adding CC.
2. When Su-Chi Cave Guard dies, it triggers, adding eight C.
3. Activate Transplant Theorist by paying 2, putting Su-Chi Cave Guard on the bottom of your library from your graveyard.
4. Activate Grenzo by paying 2, putting Su-Chi Cave Guard into your graveyard from the bottom of your library, and then putting it onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop starts by using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice Su-Chi Cave Guard, which immediately generates a massive influx of colorless mana from its own death trigger to fuel the engine. Once the Cave Guard rests in the graveyard, Transplant Theorist steps in to tuck it safely back onto the bottom of your library. From there, Grenzo, Dungeon Warden uses its activated ability to reach deep into your library and pull the Cave Guard right back onto the battlefield, ready to be sacrificed all over again.
