How it works

1. Activate Steelswarm Operator's second ability by tapping it, adding that can only be spent to activate abilities of artifacts.
2. Activate Memnarch by paying 1, causing Freed from the Real to become an artifact.
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Steelswarm Operator.
4. Activate Steelswarm Operator's second ability by tapping it, adding that can only be spent to activate abilities of artifacts.
5. Repeat from step 3.

This fascinating loop turns Steelswarm Operator and Freed from the Real into an endless mana engine by taking full advantage of Memnarch's first ability. Because Memnarch can make any permanent into an artifact, it transforms Freed from the Real into a legal target for the restricted mana produced by Steelswarm Operator's second ability. With that mana fueling the enchantment's untap ability, you can repeatedly untap Steelswarm Operator to generate an infinite supply of blue mana specifically designated for casting artifact spells and activating artifact abilities.
