How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Etrata, triggering its ability.
2. Holding priority, activate Strionic Resonator by paying 2 and tapping it, targeting Etrata's trigger.
3. Holding priority, activate Abstruse Archaic by paying 1 and tapping it, copying Strionic Resonator's trigger, targeting Etrata's trigger.
4. Resolve both Strionic Resonator triggers, copying Etrata's trigger twice.
5. Resolve all Etrata triggers, exiling three creatures an opponent controls and putting hit counters on them, and then causing that opponent to lose the game.

This clever sequence turns Etrata, the Silencer's alternate-win condition into an instant-speed assassination by accelerating the accumulation of hit counters. Unblockable combat damage triggers Etrata, and while that single trigger is on the stack, you can tap Strionic Resonator to copy it. Because Strionic Resonator is a colorless source, Abstruse Archaic can then target and copy that copying effect, letting you multiply the single combat trigger into three total instances. Resolving all of them exiles three separate creatures under your opponent's control and immediately forces them to lose the game in a single devastating strike, bypassing Etrata's usual drawback of shuffling into your library before you can secure the win.
