How it works

1. Activate a basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
2. Activate Ghave's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating two 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
3. Activate Earthcraft by tapping a Saproling, untapping a basic land.
4. Activate a basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
5. Activate Earthcraft by tapping a Saproling, untapping a basic land.
6. Activate Ghave's second ability by paying 1 and sacrificing a Saproling, putting two +1/+1 counters on Ghave.
7. Repeat.
8. On each other iteration, you may skip steps 4-6 to get infinite Saproling creature tokens and mana, or you may optionally get infinite +1/+1 counters and then skip the steps.

This clever loop turns Ghave, Guru of Spores into a self-sustaining engine by feeding off basic lands and tokens. Earthcraft allows your creatures to rapidly untap your land base simply by tapping, generating the mana needed to keep going, while Primal Vigor supercharges the entire operation by doubling every token created and every +1/+1 counter placed. By cycling back and forth between creating Saprolings and sacrificing them to build up Ghave's counters, you scale your board endlessly and fuel infinite resources.
