How it works

1. Activate a basic Mountain by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft by tapping Squee, untapping the Mountain.
3. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Squee, adding .
4. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
5. Repeat.

This engine creates a brilliant loop of sacrifice and resurrection, utilizing Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be cast directly from the graveyard or exile. Because Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius reduces the cost of spells cast from exile or the graveyard by {2}, Squee can be recast for a mere two red mana—the exact amount generated by tapping your land and sacrificing the goblin. Earthcraft lets you tap Squee to untap a basic land before the sacrifice, while Thermopod acts as the sacrifice outlet that turns Squee into the necessary red mana to fuel the loop all over again.
